Creation Science part 3
66
First and foremost, I believe that it is important to note that I believe the bible is true and correct in every way. I do not believe that the bible contradicts itself in any method or presentation. It is only by the fallacy of man that perceptions have been created to propagate the belief that the bible is filled with contradictions.
Now that is out of the way...onward to the creation!
Kentucky Fried T-Rex?
- 20 And God said, "Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind."
- 21 So God created great sea creatures and every sort of fish and every kind of bird. And God saw that it was good.
- 22 Then God blessed them, saying, "Let the fish multiply and fill the oceans. Let the birds increase and fill the earth."
- 23 This all happened on the fifth day.
We all believe in dinosaurs right? Of course we do, kinda hard not to what with all the proof out there, fossils and the like. Its widely known that there are lots of these colossal beast's bones littering the world. I want to tackle dinosaurs for a moment. There are a lot of theories running around currently that say dinosaurs evolved into birds, chickens or the like. Here is a sample of the proof that dinosaurs evolved into birds.
Now the interesting thing I find here is that they only have a partial connection, nothing confirmed beyond a few matching sequences and in those sequences, they also found matching amphibious sequences.
Based on the verses 20 and 21, God says that He alone created every fish and sea creature and every bird. Waters in this case is a word mayim, which is literally water, like the oceans, water springs and such. The Hebrew word for great sea creature is tanniyn. It has a variety of meanings from dragon or dinosaur to venomous snake. Again, I say that creation happened in literal 24 hr time periods. There is a theory among creationists that God created through evolution and that He used millions of years to perfect His creation using the ice age and such. I have not found where the bible supports such a theory, only the "facts" provided by evolutionists sways that thinking. The discoveries like the story above which claim to link evolution of certain creatures.
That's no bird
If God is a sovereign and perfect God, than why would He make a creation that took millions of years to form and made an imperfect earth that needed to continue its formation through that time? The result of sin, death and destruction, is what rips at our earth today. The death of man, the decay of the planet, is all the result of the sin that changed everything God made. God is without flaw and created a perfect world.
Given the period of creation being 24 hours, it is simply not possible for evolution of dinosaurs into birds to have happened. Given the amount of time it would take to evolve wouldn't be possible in less than that time.
Additionally, the Hebrew word for bird is 'owph, meaning birds, fowl and even insects that all had wings. If God was going to evolve dinosaurs into birds, then there would have been no reason to create them separately, why not just make dinosaurs, then sit back and watch them change.
- 24 And God said, "Let the earth bring forth every kind of animal-livestock, small animals, and wildlife." And so it was.
- 25 God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to reproduce more of its own kind. And God saw that it was good.
Let's stop a moment. The actual Hebrew text reads that wild animals, livestock, small animals is behemah, which is basically covering all types of animals. This is different from say making a terribly large lizard. These animals all came from the land, which is 'erets in Hebrew. No sea creatures here...just us mammals.
- 26 Then God said, "Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves. They will be masters over all life-the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the livestock, wild animals, and small animals."
- 27 So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself; male and female he created them.
- 28 God blessed them and told them, "Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it. Be masters over the fish and birds and all the animals."
- 29 And God said, "Look! I have given you the seed-bearing plants throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food.
- 30 And I have given all the grasses and other green plants to the animals and birds for their food." And so it was.
- 31 Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was excellent in every way. This all happened on the sixth day.
The creation of man is further described in Genesis chapter 2. Also, there is a possible misconception found their. I've heard support for evolutionary creation found in Genesis 2 : 4. It says, "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that they Lord God made the earth and the heavens."
the word for generations is towl'adah, which is more like history, but can be translated as generations for genealogical purposes.
The perfect temperature?
Genesis 2: 5-6 say, "and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground."
The term before has a root meaning of suspend, to interrupt. God put the process of plants and seeds on hold from the 3rd day until He made man on the 6th day. In the meantime He sent a mist that watered the ground, similar to the type of misting you would have in an atrium to keep it habitable for plantlife and lizards. There was no rain on the earth at this time either. The word for rain is matar and that is the rains from the heavens.

Time Elapsed Video of Seeds Sprouting
That word is also used to describe the rains that flooded the earth for Noah. Rabbit trail aside, I believe that the above verses show how the Lord created in 6 days, each day being a 24 hour period. For the world to have been formed in ages, and evolution to have taken place, the earth would have to have bared fruit, seeds would have to have produced their plants and growth. The bible teaches that nothing came to fruition during that time of creation until man was placed to tend to it, which happened on the 6th day. Evolution through ages, animals would have to have lived and died. Prior to the fall of man, the bible teaches there was no death. Even after the fall, Adam lived for over 900 years!
I know they have found frozen remains of woolly mammoths with food in their stomachs. For the mammoth to have frozen, with food in it's belly, the process couldn't have taken thousands of years, it would have to happen very quickly to freeze it solid with food digesting. Given that plants didn't grow until after man was on the scene, I again say that even the frozen mammoth lends credibility to creation as he would have been frozen solid like that during a worldwide flood.
All of these things, I believe are evidence of an intelligent design that took place quickly, over a 6 day process in 24 hour intervals.

Nice job! I like it.
"Now the interesting thing I find here is that they only have a partial connection, nothing confirmed beyond a few matching sequences and in those sequences, they also found matching amphibious sequences."
Huh? Evolution predicts based on study of fossils that dinosaurs represent a transitional form between reptilian species and avian ones, they find that the DNA shows exactly that relationship, and that doesn't mean anything to you? I have to admit, I cannot follow your thinking at all here.
I agree with you that evolution requires an old creation, but as previously mentioned, the geology and the biology are entirely consistent with each other. "Seek and ye shall find," it says in Matthew 7:7, and the scientists have been seeking. What they've found is consistent evidence for an ancient universe with constantly (even now) evolving life. It's an elegant, incredible, and internally consistent system, and given the millions of ways the system could have failed, it's miraculous that it works at all. But it does.
As to the mammoth, yes, the mammoth itself froze quickly. The length of the freezing event has nothing to do with how long the item has been frozen. For example, from when you put the steak in the freezer to when it's rock solid, about two hours, as opposed to how long it stays there. The one in my freezer's been in there almost two years now. I should probably throw it out. =)
Enjoying these, but still waiting for a geneology answer.
Of course we should never mistake a T-Rex for a chicken. Tyrannosaurs are theropod dinosaurs classified within the coelurosaur group that also included a separate family known as the maniraptors.
What makes a coelurosaur? A number of characteristics, but just to pick one out, their lower legs are longer than their upper ones (just the opposite of humans). Also, coelurosaurs frequently had feathers, a trait not seen within any other dinosauria group.
What distinguished a tyrannosaurid from a maniraptor? Tyrannosaurs are famous for their shortened forelimbs, while maniraptors were named for their long forelimbs. Also, tyrannosaurs lived in the area that would become western North America, while the maniraptors (including the velociraptors from Jurassic Park) lived in what would become Eastern Asia. Why is that important? Because when paleontologists dig in China and Mongolia, they find transitional fossils showing how some maniraptors evolved into birds.
The examples are numerous, so I won't list them here, but feel free to check out http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/CC/CC214.html . You'll find that paleontologists have found numerous dinosaurs with feathers, dinosaurs with bird spines, dinosaurs losing their teeth, and a number of species with so many shared characteristics that scientists can't agree whether they're dinosaurs or birds.
Another famous transition set is the transition of whales from land dwelling ruminants to sea mammals. Again, scientists can tell you exactly where this transition happened, this time in South Asia near the border of Pakistan and India. See the article at http://www.talkorigins.org/features/whales/.
One thing that people unfamiliar with evolution often don't quite understand is that individuals don't evolve, populations do. No, a tyrannosaur (or even a velociraptor) is never going to give birth to a chicken (that would actually be proof for God to me, as it would be a miracle). But separate two different groups of one species from each other, let them only breed among their own group for several hundred generations, maybe change what food is available to them, and at the end, the progeny will likely look very different than not only their estranged cousins, but also from their ancestors. See http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2008/04/still_j for how just a few generations can affect a population.
May I also suggest looking up the term "nested hierarchy" and how the theory of evolution predicts it? I'm of course always open to suggested readings from your side, I really find this debate fascinating and always want to understand more.

These commentaries are very well done and informative. Thank you for the taking the leap into creation theory with bold steps.
